Assignments: Assault

  • 10 Revives
  • 10 Heals

Reward: FAMAS

This is likely the easiest of all missions, and reward is a gun people rave over.

There won’t be much to say about this assignment, only: Operation Metro.  Even if you hate this map,  you can  throw a medic kit at Bravo and get more than 10 heals, and  you can very easily get all 10 revives as there is always someone dying every second. You can accomplish these in any map, but for a quick finish I recommend going to Op Metro and doing it in one go.

  • 100 Kills with Assault Rifles
  • 20 Kills with Underslung Grenade Launcher
  • 5 Wins on Squad Deathmatch

Reward: L85A2

The next mission for the Assault gets tougher.  100 kills with an assault rifle can be daunting, but it’s not that bad. You can use your new Famas to get those kills easily.

Some people struggle with getting the 20 kills with an underslung grenade launcher. To my knowledge, you don’t have to use the underslung. This is an attachment that goes on to your rifle, allowing the grenade launcher to go on top of your weapon. I do find it’s more accurate than using the grenade launcher as a separate weapon, but I find the Foregrip more valuable, as the underslung replaces the foregrip. Some people cannot get the hang of the aim with these.  It can be difficult and it’s hard to describe how to aim with it.  All I can say is experiment. At close range you aim with the lowest bar.  The easiest way for someone who doesn’t know how to aim with these is, Grand Bazaar. At Bravo everyone is hiding in the hallway rooms, and it’s best to just aim it in there.  Because even if you do not know how to aim it properly, the rooms are so small that splash damage and explosion against a wall will injure or kill the enemy. If you see you get a hit doing this, repeat until the soldier is killed.
****Also note****  I am uncertain if you can use the M320 Buck,  but I would experiment after unlocking it, as you’d be able to use this more as a shotgun and better increase the speed of getting kills.

Finally the Squad Deathmatch.  I would highly recommend playing this with friends, but if you don’t have any to play with that is ok too.  I will add an article on how to win SQDM with friends but for the convenience of this assignment I will just provide tips how to get wins.  Take note that you do need to be an Assault to get wins for this assignment.
But Firstly when joining, check the scoreboard to see your opponents. If there is space in a seemingly better team, switch to that one.  If there isn’t,  assess your team.  If majority of your team have a negative kill to death ratio, then spawn as an Assault to keep reviving your squad as much as possible.  If your team is doing well, killing more than dying, then perhaps you might consider Recon and MAV-ing for your squad. This will help good players be even better players by revealing all enemy position. If your squad knows where to find the enemy, they will likely kill them before being killed. If this fails, check the other squads at the end of a match to see if you can switch to a better (or winning) team.

About battlenoobs

Battlenoobs was created primarily for the beginners in the battlefield who may not have experience with the Battlefield franchises, or FPS in general. While most of the information is basic and targeted at console users, I hope to add some tips and strategies for advanced players as well. Any inaccuracies that you may come across in this blog are result of a game patch.
